Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
  • Support bakers in the preparation and presentation of cheesecakes, including portioning, weighing, and storing ingredients
  • Perform front-of-house and back-of-house duties as directed by the Person in Charge (PIC)
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Prepare drinks at the Tea Bar and handle payment at the cash register
  • Packaging cakes into boxes and ensuring accurate labeling and presentation
Requirements
  • Some high school education or equivalent experience
  • Prefer some operations experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant's own expense

Work Environment

Our kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use oven and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees may be required to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours, and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers.
