Overview:


The HR Information Systems Specialist II will be responsible for the design, analysis, and support of HR systems and tools aimed at enhancing and sustaining operational functions within the Human Resources department.

This position emphasizes reporting and analytics, which includes the creation and dissemination of HR reports, dashboards, and metrics, collaborating with stakeholders to comprehend requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Key responsibilities encompass data management and analysis, requirement gathering, system testing, access and permissions oversight, system updates management, reporting and analytics, data auditing, end-user training, process documentation, and process enhancement.


Responsibilities:


Collect requirements from HR leadership and process owners, possessing a comprehensive understanding of business processes to aid in the definition, design, implementation, and documentation of effective tools and workflows.


Deliver technical support for a variety of complex technical issues, independently formulating solutions, including troubleshooting end-user challenges, rectifying defects or errors, and escalating issues as necessary.

Lead intricate technical projects.

Collaborate with and design reporting tools to fulfill data reporting needs. Ensure the quality and timeliness of HR information retrieved from systems.

Establish and maintain a repository of standard reports that are routinely made accessible to relevant stakeholders (e.g., on a monthly, quarterly, and/or semi-annual basis). Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and work towards the automation of standard reports.


Develop engaging and informative data visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and heat maps to effectively convey HR metrics and insights.


Provide partnership, collaboration, leadership, and support to the HR team in annual HR processes and daily, weekly, or monthly reporting, processing, and data requirements.

Identify and define opportunities for system and process enhancements.

Manage requests and offer support for HR transaction processing as needed.

Oversee the design, management, and auditing of user permissions and role configurations.

Ensure the overall integrity and accuracy of data within systems, including ongoing reconciliation, auditing, and monitoring.

Guarantee that data feeds between systems are reliable, accurate, and automated whenever feasible.


Plan and manage system upgrades for Oracle HCM and other applications as necessary, evaluating enhancements in lower environments prior to their deployment in production.

Plan and manage the implementation of new systems, modules, and tools.

Experience Level:

5+ years of experience in HRIS. Experience with HR application systems in a corporate setting is essential.

Experience in report writing, data visualization, and providing analyses to a diverse audience, including senior leadership.

Experience working cross-functionally.

Preferred Specialized Training / Education

Experience supporting Oracle HCM or other HRMS.

Experience in business process improvement, providing insights for enhancements.

Required Specialized Training or Skills

Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; understands the downstream impact of configuration and business process modifications.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in managing HR data.
