Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This role requires a passion for fitness and health, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing a superior level of customer service.
  • Front Desk Operations: Handle all front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, new member sign-ups, and taking prospective members on tours.
  • Account Management: Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Club Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Background: Preferred experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Ability to use basic computer software and systems.
  • Passion for Fitness and Health: A genuine interest in fitness and health.
  • Positive Attitude: An upbeat and positive attitude is essential for success in this role.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Must be punctual and reliable, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Talking and Communication: Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Lifting: Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
