Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, supporting and complementing nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities- Assist staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care
- Support and complement nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Carry out delegated skills that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel
- Must be 18 years of age prior to start date
- Completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/ GED with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred
- Able to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting
- Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position with a rotating day/night shift schedule. You will work 60-72 hours per pay period and be required to work every third weekend and two holidays per year.
