Job Description:

The selected candidate will provide configuration support for enhancements and projects as a Workday Administrator. This role involves working through a prioritized backlog, partnering with the business to understand requirements and build solutions. The successful candidate will be accountable for enhancements, optimizations, reporting, and testing with appropriate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a system steward, providing input on system access and capability.
  • Provide solutions for the business with scalability, maintenance, and user experience in mind.
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams under rigorous deadlines.
  • Act as an internal consultant regarding system capabilities, partnering with stakeholders in design and modification.
  • Provide Workday support, including business process configuration, calculated fields, report writing, security administration, and upgrade testing.
  • Define, document, and follow system standards.
  • Work with business partners to identify system improvements and enhancements, recommend and implement solutions, and manage change requests.
  • Perform bi-annual release testing.
  • Provide solutions through effective communication and ticketing systems.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of Workday functional configuration experience in one or more modules.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • 2-4 years of related experience in human resources.
  • Knowledge of Workday Foundations, Security, and Reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of multiple Workday modules.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday certification or training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Fierce attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Consistent attendance is required.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers.
  • Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.
  • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.
