Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain virtualized hardware, software, and networking for hundreds of servers, adhering to IT best practices and emphasizing cybersecurity.
  • Understand and apply IT procedures and best practices, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect our systems and data from potential threats.
  • Apply operating system updates, software deployment, and configuration to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage identity management and control access to our systems and data, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
  • Configure and manage basic networking changes to ensure efficient communication between systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT environments, with expertise in Microsoft Windows server management, Linux server management, user/identity management, network management, server virtualization, and shell scripting.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IT Service Desk automation experience.
  • Advanced scripting experience.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud computing.
  • Database management.
  • Source Code management.
  • RHEL, Microsoft, Cisco, or IT-related certifications.
