Pay rate: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour


Pay for this contract position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.


We are seeking a skilled NX Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of semiconductor process equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in NX CAD software and experience in semiconductor process equipment design.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design semiconductor process equipment using NX (Siemens / former Unigraphics)
  • Create 2D and 3D CAD models, 3D prints, and electro-mechanical layouts
  • Design metals, fixtures, tooling, packaging, mechanisms, and machining components
  • Develop sheet metal and machined enclosure designs
  • Conduct DFM (Design For Manufacturing), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), tolerance analysis, and FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
  • Create documentation and BOMs
  • Utilize Teamcenter for design management
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and take direction from management


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in NX CAD software
  • Experience in semiconductor process equipment design
  • Solid understanding of tooling and fixture design
  • Knowledge of metals, fixtures, tooling, packaging, mechanisms, and machining
  • Familiarity with sheet metal and machined enclosure development
  • Experience with DFM, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and FEA
  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation and BOMs
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in secure and confidential environments
