Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Services Associate at the Kansas Health System. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid and professional responses to patient and visitor inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
  • Locate and direct patients and visitors to the appropriate physicians or services throughout the hospital.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, in-house phone numbers, maps, and department locations.
  • Escorts patients and visitors in wheelchairs as needed, or utilizes health system volunteers or Central Transport to assist.
  • Assists senior patients with outside transportation and maintains confidentiality of patient information.
  • Works collaboratively with information desk volunteers, including training, and provides relief at the Valet Receptionist or Heart Hospital Information Desk as needed.
  • Assists visitors with requests for voter registration, clergy parking, and parking ticket validations.
  • Monitors facility conditions and notifies appropriate departments for resolutions.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly information desk and tracks inventory of necessary supplies and forms.
  • Attends mandatory staff meetings and follows policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
  • Notary Public eligible
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Bilingual (preferred)
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications
