Job Summary

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Christus Health, you will provide high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. You will work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general nursing care to patients, including administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, testing, and procedures.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide education on medication, treatment, and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
  • Valid state license to practice nursing.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
