Position Overview:


As the Brand Marketing Lead, you will oversee the marketing initiatives for the Baby, Infant, and Preschool categories at Mattel, reporting directly to the Marketing Director.

The successful candidate will have the unique chance to enhance the brand's presence by attracting young families and gift-givers to a legacy brand that has stood the test of time.

We are in the process of launching a new brand campaign aimed at enhancing brand relevance and differentiation to solidify our market leadership.

In this dynamic role, you will be expected to adapt our marketing strategies in response to evolving consumer media habits, making it an exciting opportunity for those passionate about the field of marketing.


Your responsibilities will also include leading the daily operations of the brand, transforming insights into actionable recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the organization.

Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for both internal discussions and external presentations to retail partners during key cycles.

This position includes direct oversight of one Associate Marketing Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily marketing operations, including the collection and analysis of insights related to brand and product performance.
  • Provide item-level forecasting, monitoring, and performance summaries to inform marketing strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of promotional plans by brand and across various customer segments.
  • Enhance brand visibility by implementing key marketing initiatives within the U.S. market.
  • Facilitate marketing execution by guiding a cross-functional team that includes Sales, Global Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Integrated Marketing Communications.
  • Manage annual budgets for both media and non-media initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop your direct report.
