Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent plays a crucial role in managing on-site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule. This position requires effective supervision of field personnel, strategic planning of project objectives, and fostering strong communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee daily activities of the field workforce
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to evaluate equipment requirements
  • Review contractor activities for adherence to contractual obligations
  • Support subcontractor payment processes
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships
  • Develop and implement site logistics strategies
  • Perform quality assessments and generate reports
  • Coordinate necessary testing and inspections
  • Track expenses and oversee project timelines
  • Provide daily reports on field operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent vocational training
  • OSHA 62-hour Certification or OSHA 30-hour with the ability to complete an additional 32-hour course
  • First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in field operations
  • Familiarity with Contract Management procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
