About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our Enterprise Services & Solutions Division at Acclaim Technical Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and testing new integrated circuits and hardware components for a wide range of signal processing applications and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and test new integrated circuits and hardware components for signal processing applications and research.
  • Develop and document code for digital signal processors and other programmable hardware devices.
  • Analyze existing integrated circuits and hardware components for reverse engineering purposes.
  • Modify and adapt vendor-manufactured hardware to meet special government needs and contingencies.
  • Collaborate with other engineering personnel to coordinate design and ensure project completion.
  • Conduct design analysis to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability.
  • Apply ASIC or FPGA place and route tools to create physical implementations of designs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for design flows.
  • Reverse engineer electronic components and retrieve stored firmware or software.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience as an HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong C and Python programming skills.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, breadboarding, or prototyping electronics.
  • Familiarity with tools used in Failure Analysis and Printed Circuit Board creation.
