Job Summary

M. Early Plumbing & Heating Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical, administrative, and bookkeeping functions that support the operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support, including typing, filing, copying, and preparing documents.
  • Process Payroll and Weekly Taxes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist Project Management staff with administrative tasks and provide support as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks using critical thinking to complete processes in a competent and expedient manner.
  • Complete HR-related processes, including new hire paperwork, as requested.
  • Support the completion of financial reporting, as requested.
  • Follow up on identified issues until resolution is reached or problem is referred.
  • Answer the phone promptly and courteously, and follow through on all requests with a sense of urgency.
  • Actively participate and monitor company and employee safety certificates and other regulatory requirements.
  • Interact with clients, customers, guests, and all others in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Practice personal cleanliness and wear clean uniform or professional dress attire.
  • Demonstrate dependability in attendance and completion of job tasks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work through tasks once given outline in an efficient and expeditious manner.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • An Associate Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Three or more years of experience in an administrative or bookkeeper role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in Sage Timberline and Scheduling Programs.
  • Accuracy in spelling and grammar.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines.
  • Courteous, customer service attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure meeting deadlines and completing tasks at hand.
