Claims Processing Associate

Key Responsibilities
- Utilizing computer systems effectively
- Engaging with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Scanning and uploading necessary documentation
- Communicating with legal representatives and their staff
- Preparing claims and related correspondence
- Dispatching claims and notes to insurance providers
- Addressing workers' compensation denials
- Conducting follow-ups on Accounts Receivable
- Possessing knowledge of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Law
- Understanding WCAIS and Bureau documentation
- Managing email correspondence
- Handling phone communications
- Demonstrating multitasking abilities
- Performing additional duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Familiarity with insurance plans, workers' compensation, and personal injury cases
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Confidence in working independently
- Typing speed of 50+ words per minute
- Understanding of insurance guidelines, billing, and collection processes
- Ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals, attorneys, patients, and colleagues
Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach overhead, bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, extend arms at shoulder height, and lift up to 20 lbs.
