Job Summary:

As the Director of Financial Operations, you will be responsible for directing the timely monthly closing of the General Ledger system. You will formulate, communicate, and follow up on schedules for closing, ensuring that all financial results are accurately interpreted and analyzed for management.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct the analysis of budget to actual variances

Direct the maintenance of accounting records using the GL system

Propose and implement system modifications to maintain compliance with changing legal and regulatory requirements and changing technological environments

Implement and oversee the development, enhancement of the general ledger and fixed asset subledger systems

Coordinate the weekly processing of subsystem data into the General Ledger and oversee the data entry of journals into the General Ledger system

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and seven (7) years of applied progressive financial management experience

CPA firm experience highly desired
