Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Implementation Specialist to join our team at Quasset. As a key member of our Innovation Services, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of solutions to improve Asset Integrity Management in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing, validation, and innovation projects to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical and operational feasibility of projects.
  • Learn to operate a wide range of robotic systems and payloads.
  • Support integration and management of change at client facilities.
  • Provide training to clients.
  • Carry out field trials and pilots.
  • Manage a portfolio of activities in support of the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative.

Requirements

  • Technical background, BSc/MSc level, preferably in the field of engineering, science, or mechatronics.
  • At least three years of practical experience with new technologies in a technical/operational environment, preferably in the petrochemical or energy industry.
  • Excellent presentation and client-facing skills.
  • Hands-on engineering experience in robotics testing and validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent soft skills and awareness of the needs of stakeholders across many cultures and nationalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – business-proficient and fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel and execute field work trials.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail, prioritize, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, able to work independently and as a team player, willing to help.
  • The ability to pivot and juggle changing work priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A curiosity for robotics systems and innovation in the energy sector.
