Position Overview:

Chimera Enterprises International is in search of a Fielding Coordinator to provide essential support to the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) Medical Office. This office oversees national investments in defense mechanisms and medical countermeasures against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary liaison among the requiring office, various manufacturing and support candidates, and other program offices.
  • Facilitate fielding operations with the receiving services, which may involve travel to unit locations to represent the program office during the fielding process and perform comprehensive inventory and functional checks of all equipment.
  • Conduct fielding analyses for programs to contribute to the development of system support packages.
  • Maintain, track, and report on the status of support strategies, fielding documentation, provisioning plans, and other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents.
  • Oversee fielding events by keeping an updated schedule for all systems and coordinating an equipment fielding timeline with relevant parties.
  • Engage in pre-fielding teleconferences and meetings to address all questions from the gaining unit and ensure program office requirements are fulfilled.
  • Provide insights for the development and revision of training materials and user guides related to the transition of fielded systems.
  • Coordinate and deliver fielding reports on a regular basis.
  • Identify challenges associated with fielding events and propose effective solutions.
  • Maintain an electronic repository for property accountability and compliance with policy and DoD regulations, including contract deliverables with a monthly review process.
  • Negotiate equipment fielding schedules with major commands and relevant stakeholders.
  • Execute post-fielding sustainment actions.
  • Conduct Total Package Fielding (TPF) of systems in accordance with Army Regulations or other service-specific procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver introductory briefs for new materials.
  • Compile logistics-related documentation for the Next Generation Diagnostic System (NGDS).

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in equipment fielding, material release, and type classification in accordance with Army Regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the functionality, administration, configuration, and operational concepts within a Joint Product Office environment.

Clearance Level: Secret
