Job Description

As a Field Applications Specialist at Inframark, LLC, you will play a critical role in the implementation of Instrumentation & Control Systems projects. This position requires a strong understanding of system design, build, installation, startup, and follow-up service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and install Instrumentation & Control Systems projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement system control narratives, HMI applications, and PLC programming.
  • Conduct system startups, including PLC, HMI, instrumentation, and networking equipment/applications.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to operators, supervisors, and administrative personnel.
  • Generate and gather all required final project documentation, including as-built markups and testing reports.
  • Perform on-call service for customers, troubleshooting project startup and warranty problems.
Requirements
  • A technical degree in an engineering-related field or 3 years of field service experience in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, process instruments, and electrical and networking knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, management, and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular travel required for project startup and service calls.
Work Environment

This role requires working at various locations, including office, panel shop, customer jobsites (indoors and outdoors), and in varying weather conditions. Activities include extended periods of sitting or standing, with potential for climbing stairs, standing, bending, lifting, and working on ladders.

Travel

Substantial daily travel is required for project startup, testing, and demonstration of control systems, as well as service calls.
