Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fuel Technician to join our team at Circle K. As a Fuel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining fueling equipment, providing preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain fueling equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and may include dispenser calibration.
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
  • Participate in training for existing and new equipment.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the maintenance field or more preferred.
  • Able to use hand/electric cart.
  • Able to use power and hand tools.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable as a driver.
  • Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit for long periods of time.
  • Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry.
  • View computer monitor.
  • Hear and speak via telephone.
  • Reach forward and/or overhead.
  • Occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment.
  • Work in confined spaces.
  • Required crouching and/or crawling.
  • Able to use a ladder.
Work Environment
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.
  • The lighting will include natural light from the outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
  • Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
