HVAC/R and Kitchen Equipment Service Specialist

Position: Service Technician
Employment Status: Full Time, Regular, Non-Exempt
Location: REMCO Southeast
We are in search of skilled technicians and mechanics with a strong background in commercial HVAC/R and kitchen equipment. Our compensation and benefits packages are among the best in the industry, and we are committed to expanding our reach across the nation.
Incentives: Qualified technicians may receive a hiring bonus after completing 90 days of employment, along with retention bonuses on their work anniversaries.
Travel and Overtime: We provide a competitive travel and overtime policy, including weekly on-call bonuses and overtime pay for after-hours and weekend service calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, ice machines, and HVAC systems, including installation and maintenance of various components.
- Work on commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and mixers, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturers for technical support and parts identification.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Parts Departments for efficient service delivery.
- Document service activities accurately, including work orders and inventory management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized service vehicle.
- Assist fellow technicians with technical challenges as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC installations.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
- Willingness to participate in on-call and emergency service as required.
- EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant technical training or certifications.
- Experience in commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment repair.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
