Position Overview
The Bicycle Assembly Technician is responsible for the meticulous assembly and fine-tuning of bicycles, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and adjust various types of bicycles, including children's bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, custom builds, and cargo bikes.
  • Utilize company-provided tools at a fully equipped workbench to perform assembly tasks.
  • Follow established protocols for pulling bikes from staging areas based on priority and specific model requirements.
  • Secure bikes in repair stands for assembly and perform necessary adjustments, including running cables, mounting components, truing wheels, and tuning brakes and drivetrains.
  • Document all work performed and transport completed bikes to designated holding areas.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated reliability with a strong attendance record.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of builders.
  • Previous experience in bicycle assembly or mechanics is advantageous, though training will be provided.
  • A passion for cycling and riding is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain focus and productivity throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Capability to stand and work at an assembly station for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds overhead.
