Job Overview & Conditions
  • This position involves receiving and disassembling old compressors for reassembly or retrofitting with new, functional components, followed by painting, labeling, testing, and delivering to our esteemed clients.
  • The work environment is industrial, requiring the lifting of materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds. Operators utilize commercial hoses for cleaning tasks and must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety goggles, steel-toed boots, hard hats, and gloves.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools (such as wrenches, ratchets, and air guns) is essential, along with familiarity in disassembling and reassembling compressors and their components.
  • Responsible for dismantling old compressors and sorting components for recycling or cleaning for remanufacturing.
  • Ensure all tools, parts, and workstations are clean, serviceable, and prepared for use.
  • Maintain an organized workspace free from clutter, including parts and supporting materials.
  • Assemble components according to compressor specifications.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors or Company Leadership.

Requirements / Preferences
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Mechanical aptitude and tool usage experience (e.g., automotive work) are highly preferred.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License/Identification and necessary documentation to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
  • Must pass an English Competency Test.
  • Bi-lingual candidates (Spanish/English) are preferred.
  • Experience operating a sit-down propane forklift is a plus (1-2 years).
