Join the ranks of the United States Army as a certified Medical Laboratory Technician, where you will play a crucial role in analyzing samples from patients, including blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids.

This is a military position, and prior experience is not required. It is an entry-level opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct fundamental blood banking and clinical laboratory tasks in various fields such as hematology, immunohematology, clinical chemistry, serology, bacteriology, parasitology, and urinalysis.

Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.

Handle the packing, unpacking, inspection, storage, and distribution of blood and blood products.

Assemble, disassemble, and maintain laboratory instruments.

COMPENSATION
Annual salary ranges from $21,276 to $30,036, plus a cost of living stipend based on your residence ZIP code at the entry level.

Potential salary increases can reach up to $100,000, along with a cost of living stipend.

TRAINING PROGRAM
Complete 10 weeks of Basic Training.

Followed by 52 weeks of Technical School, which includes on-the-job training.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
