Director of Lodging and Rooms Job Description

Horizon Hospitality Associates, Inc is seeking a seasoned Director of Lodging and Rooms to lead the service and operations for rooms, housekeeping, front office, and guest services at our four-star resort in Idaho.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of rooms, housekeeping, front office, and guest services to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality of service.
  • Lead a team of hospitality professionals to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and effective communication.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of hotel management experience with a focus on rooms, front office, and guest services.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of $125,000 - $145,000 (commensurate with experience).
