Senior Compounder – Full Time Position

About the Role

We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Senior Compounder who is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality in every product. Your attention to detail ensures that every customer enjoys a superior experience with our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Compounder will play a crucial role in our production team, responsible for accurately mixing and compounding products based on detailed formulas. You will uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency by strictly adhering to safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to create product batches ranging from 5 gallons to 2,000 gallons, including a variety of personal care items such as shampoos, oils, and premium skin creams. You will take pride in knowing that your work contributes to products enjoyed by customers nationwide.

Compounding Duties

Precisely measure, weigh, and combine raw materials to formulate personal care products according to established recipes and SOPs.

Documentation Management

Keep thorough records of all compounding activities, including lot and batch numbers, temperatures, and any deviations from standard processes. Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted promptly.

Quality Assurance

Adhere to all safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to guarantee that products meet the highest quality benchmarks. Monitor production processes to maintain consistency and address any potential quality issues.

Safety Protocols

Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and practice safe handling techniques when dealing with hazardous materials.

Equipment Management

Operate and maintain compounding machinery, including mixers, blenders, and scales, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and functioning properly. Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team without delay.

Physical Demands

Be prepared to spend the majority of your workday on your feet, lifting and moving heavy materials (up to 50 pounds). Ensure that all physical tasks are performed safely and efficiently.

Collaboration

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and timely batch completion.

Continuous Improvement

Engage in process enhancement initiatives and contribute ideas to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Time Management Skills

Effectively manage your time to ensure all tasks align with the production schedule. Prioritize responsibilities based on urgency and importance to meet manufacturing deadlines.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years in a compounding or mixing role within the personal care, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing sectors.
