Lundbeck is a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the lives of people with neurological and psychiatric diseases. We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Neuroscience Account Manager to join our team.

About the Role

As a Neuroscience Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving demand creation by providing comprehensive clinical knowledge, executing sales and marketing strategies in the local market, and partnering to deploy approved services necessary to meet the needs of each account/customer. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and execute fully integrated account plans, leveraging your expertise in the CNS/neuroscience therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Planning & Account Leadership: Develop and execute business plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to maximize sales performance.
  • Selling: Deliver clear and compelling messages to customers, effectively probe customer needs, and address objections.
  • Customer Development: Develop customer engagement plans, gather and validate market trends, and apply comprehensive therapeutic knowledge to uncover unique opportunities.
  • Reimbursement: Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics, anticipate and address payer access issues, and utilize deep understanding of Medicare payer landscape.
  • Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical and regulatory environment, including accountability and adherence to Lundbeck policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 4+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales, or related healthcare sales experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in building and maintaining professional relationships, communication, and sales performance.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience within a specialty product sales force.
  • Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience therapeutic areas.
  • Documented successful sales performance, including national sales awards.
  • Experience in product launches, with proven ability to drive results in a challenging market.
