Job Title: Operating Room Surgical Aide

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Surgical Aide to join our team. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment in which quality patient care is delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to and from the Operating Room and other locations.
  • Assist nursing staff in the rooms with patient care, including positioning and transfer of anesthetized patients.
  • Perform shave prep on surgical patients according to established guidelines.
  • Deliver specimens and blood products to and from the Laboratory and Radiology.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the Operating Room and CSR2 Soiled area.
  • Collaborate with other members of the surgical team to ensure each Operating Room is clean and all equipment is in place.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Satisfactory references.
  • CPR training required.
