About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Surgical Aide to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from the Operating Room and other locations
  • Assist nursing staff with patient care, including positioning and transfer of anesthetized patients
  • Perform between-case cleaning to minimize turnaround between surgical procedures
  • Maintain inventory levels of specified stock items in the Operating Room
  • Prepare stretchers and oxygen tanks for patient transport
  • Collaborate with other members of the surgical team to ensure a clean and organized Operating Room
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPR training required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with patients and staff
