Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, develop, and improve manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Collaborate with design engineering and other internal teams to understand product requirements and transform them into effective, efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to reduce process variability and improve product quality.
  • Operate and program CNC machines for production and prototype builds.
  • Design and develop new products and product mock-ups alongside the research and development team.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process for new products, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations and standards.
  • Implement effective project management strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes and equipment, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff and technicians to ensure optimal production quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in CNC machine operation and programming.
  • Proven experience in project management and the ability to lead and manage projects from conception to completion.
  • Proficiency in valve systems, with a deep understanding of their design, function, and application.
  • Demonstrated experience in product development, including the ability to design, prototype, and bring a product to market.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • High level of proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools.
