Job Summary

VetJobs is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with other team members to solve complex technical and engineering-related problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support or lead continuous improvement activities, new product or process introductions, and cost reduction projects.
  • Drive to fundamental process understanding and lowest cost producer objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of plans to evaluate new technology or improvements in existing technology.
  • Understand Corning's Intellectual property management processes and follow that process in documenting any intellectual property developed as part of a project.

Requirements

  • BS or greater in Mechanical, Chemical, or Material Science.
  • 0-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Experience with Excel (pivot tables) and Access.
  • Demonstrated project leadership.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and issues effectively.
  • Directive and autonomous decision-making and prioritization.
  • Communication skills.

Additional Information

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $66,663.00 - $91,663.00 assuming full-time status. Benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
