About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Operations Specialist to join our team at REI Co-op. As a key member of our store operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and reconcile operational business expenses
  • Mentor and support operations and sales staff as needed
  • Manage office supply inventory within assigned budget
  • Assist with hiring, process HR documentation, and maintain store files
  • Coordinate the Safety Committee, Product Quality issues, and Loss Prevention standards
Requirements
  • Experience in a retail or office environment (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
