Overview:


As a Financial Services Representative, you will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities associated with all teller and Universal Service Representative functions. This includes handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and the establishment of new accounts and loans.

You will be responsible for balancing daily transactions and verifying cash totals. If you have a passion for assisting individuals and possess experience in the financial sector, this role is tailored for you.

Responsibilities:
Key Duties and

Responsibilities:
Include the following non-exhaustive list. Additional duties may be assigned. All tasks must be performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.

Process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and issuing cashier's checks.

Open new memberships and manage all ownership types.
Add or remove joint owners on existing memberships.

Interview potential and current members to identify suitable products and services that meet their financial needs.

Actively promote additional products and services to fulfill member requirements.

Originate and fund unsecured loans (including credit cards and personal loans/lines) and communicate loan decisions.

Conduct follow-up calls with new and existing members to ensure satisfaction and address any inquiries.

Provide information and assist with IRA contributions and distributions.

Demonstrate proficiency in offering information and showcasing alternative delivery channels for member use, including online banking, eStatements, mobile deposits, bill pay, P2P, remote transfers, and express line services.

Support new Universal Service Representatives.

Participate in the end-of-day branch balancing process.

Exhibit flexibility and prioritize workflow effectively.

Balance, fill, and audit ATM/CDM/Recycler as required.

Maintain the cash vault.

Instantly issue debit cards.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

One year of experience in a financial institution in a Teller or similar role, with a strong emphasis on accurate cash handling.

Physical Demands:
Positions that involve direct member interaction at our branches may require standing.

A sufficient number of suitable seats will be provided in close proximity to the work area, and employees will be allowed to use these seats when it does not interfere with their duties.


Salary Range:
$20.88-$31.32
