POSITION SUMMARY

The Campus Maintenance Specialist is entrusted with the essential duty of preserving the aesthetic and functional quality of the university grounds. This role encompasses the upkeep of all landscaping and equipment utilized for maintenance and snow management.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED along with two years of relevant vocational training.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and exhibit integrity in all actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required by workload or supervisory requests.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
  • Availability for on-call status to address urgent maintenance issues.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to issues surrounding diversity and inclusion.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of a Catholic liberal arts institution.
