Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at the City of Mason Recreation Center. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to patrons and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patrons, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of admissions, including handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of facility programs, services, and policies to effectively communicate with patrons and respond to their needs.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers, preparing bank deposits, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Operate various office equipment and software, as needed, to support administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain administrative records, reports, and other documents as required.
  • Participate in in-service training sessions and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft software platforms.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • First aid and CPR certification a plus.
