Key Responsibilities:
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Conducting assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans
+ Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment strategies, participating in team meetings and family discussions
+ Executing discharge assessments, providing recommendations for home and community safety, and offering educational resources
+ Communicating patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family members
+ Collaborating with other professionals to ensure coordinated care and improved patient outcomes
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
+ A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
+ A current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state
+ Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations
+ At least one year of experience as a physical therapist is preferred
+ Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological conditions
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with potential patient transfers requiring lifting up to 100 pounds while adhering to safety protocols
+ Physical demands include fine motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods
+ Additional physical requirements may involve pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently

Salary Range:
USD $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
