Key Responsibilities

Your Role Includes:

  • Conducting evaluations and creating tailored treatment plans.
  • Regularly assessing the effectiveness of treatment strategies and participating in team meetings.
  • Performing discharge evaluations and providing recommendations for home and community safety.
  • Communicating patient needs and progress with the treatment team, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
  • Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification as per state regulations.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological conditions.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with potential patient handling requiring lifting up to 100 pounds following safety protocols.
  • Physical demands include fine motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Additional physical requirements may involve pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning.

Hourly Rate: USD $55.00
