Job Title: Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at United Chemi-Con. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our complex technical products or services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the technical advantages of our products and services.
  • Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and troubleshooting.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Proposals and Quotes: Prepare technical proposals and quotes for customers, outlining the technical specifications and pricing details.
  • Customer Training: Train customers on how to use and maintain our products or services effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Address technical issues and challenges that arise during the sales process and find solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and technical documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, and other departments to convey customer feedback and improve products.
Requirements:
  • Product Knowledge: Understand the technical aspects of our products or services, including how they work, their features, and benefits.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of similar experience in sales is required.
  • Required Skills/Abilities: Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, excellent written and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical requirements include good speaking, hearing, and vision ability, excellent manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally and a negligible amount frequently.

Travel:

Travel is required for this position. Travel is 20%-50%.
