Position Summary:
The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the quality assurance framework to guarantee that software products adhere to the highest quality benchmarks prior to deployment.
This position entails strategic oversight, formulation of testing strategies and scenarios, and leadership of the QA team to uphold quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
The role requires close collaboration with development and product teams to embed quality assurance practices within the Agile methodology, ensuring timely and superior software releases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test within a production setting.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to project planning and requirements gathering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in testing mobile or web applications.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as NodeJS, HTML, Python, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with testing tools like Selenium WebDriver or Tosca (Tricentis).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as TestNG, Jest, or Cucumber.
- Comfortable using Git and CI processes with tools like JIRA.
- Understanding of SQL databases.
- Keen attention to detail and capability to diagnose intricate issues in application testing.
- Leadership experience, knowledge of native mobile testing frameworks, and microservices architecture is a plus.
- Ability to effectively identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Self-motivated individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the software quality assurance lifecycle within the Agile framework.
- Establish and coordinate testing strategies in collaboration with development and product teams.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Mentor and guide QA team members, assisting them in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of web and mobile test automation frameworks.
- Develop and execute automated UI and functional tests on both real devices and emulators.
- Review daily test results and report any issues.
- Assist in improving and maintaining automated CI workflows to incorporate quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot problems in systems under evaluation.
- Organize meetings, set objectives, provide feedback on testing tasks, and delegate responsibilities.
- Advocate for process enhancements and assist QA in developing solutions.
- Review and validate solutions proposed by team members.
- Continuously research current and emerging technologies, suggesting improvements as necessary.
- Document and uphold QA procedures for development CI/CD processes.

- The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, determined on a case-by-case basis considering various factors such as skills, relevant experience, and geographic location. Additional performance-based incentive compensation may also be available.
