Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Track, monitor, and manage the inventory of solar products and components.
  • Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Inventory Record Keeping: Maintain and update inventory records and systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely inventory tracking.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and identify potential stock issues.
  • Inventory Analysis: Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Transaction Management: Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions, including purchases, sales, and transfers.
  • Inventory Rotation: Manage inventory aging and coordinate proper rotation or disposal of obsolete inventory.
  • Physical Inventory Audits: Participate in regular inventory counts and coordinate physical inventory audits as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement SOPs for inventory management and continuously improve inventory operations.
  • Inventory Reporting: Review and analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Documentation: Track and document changes in inventory and compliance documentation.
  • Warehouse Organization: Ensure the proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory in the warehouse.
  • Cycle Counts: Perform cycle counts or check different sections of inventory on a rotating basis.
  • Inventory Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Inventory Updates: Received physical count of inventory Class A, B, and C and updated QBO inventory.
  • Sales Receipts: Create and update sales receipts in QBO for each project after installation is completed.
  • Monthly Inventory Verification: Verify before the end of each month that all sales receipts regarding installations are updated in QBO system.
  • Purchase Order Receipt: Responsible for making a good receipt of every Purchase Order received in the Warehouse.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Other functions as directed and/or assigned.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel might be required.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and generate reports related to inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with project managers and site supervisors regarding inventory needs.
  • Inventory Support: Provide support to other departments in sourcing and availability of solar components.
  • Inventory Resolution: Assist in resolving inventory-related issues and inquiries from internal teams.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Other functions as directed and/or assigned.
  • Travel Requirements: Employee may be required to travel for business purposes.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in inventory management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, proficient computer skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working in a team environment and coworkers, and remains tactful when communicating.
  • Authorized to Work: Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
