The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business marketing principles and strategies, as well as excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. You will work closely with our Estimator and Owner to forecast inventory needs based on upcoming projects, coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, and negotiate pricing when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the inventory process, including ordering, receiving, and tracking materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and manage discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Estimator and Owner to forecast inventory needs based on upcoming projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate pricing when necessary.
Marketing Support:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote our construction and dewatering services.
  • Create promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and online content, highlighting our inventory capabilities and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate inventory reports and analyze data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to track inventory costs and assist in budget preparation.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on inventory trends to guide marketing and operational decisions.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years verifiable experience in Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of business marketing principles and strategies.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
