Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Hourly Rate: $12-$17 (GS 1-4)

Reports to: Office Manager

Position Type: Full or Part-time

Overview:

The Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in managing the front office operations and performing various administrative tasks. This includes welcoming and checking in clients, answering phone calls, addressing company inquiries, collecting co-payments, and organizing documentation. The receptionist provides essential support to both management and staff by assisting with daily office functions and general administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and assist all clients visiting the office; respond to inquiries both via phone and in-person.
  2. Confirm client details and insurance coverage.
  3. Learn and apply de-escalation techniques, as the role may involve high-stress situations.
  4. Ensure a safe and tidy work environment.

Qualifications:

  1. Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  2. Accurate and efficient in electronic data entry.
  3. Dependable with excellent attendance.
  4. Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  5. Ability to multitask, solve problems, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Adaptable to a dynamic work environment, including varying noise levels.
  7. Physical requirements include prolonged sitting, bending, lifting, and walking.
  8. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
  9. Eligible to work in the United States.
  10. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  11. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in billing and insurance processes is advantageous.
