YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Procurement Specialist will be tasked with creating and maintaining a comprehensive list of preferred vendors, suppliers, equipment, and systems. They will also be responsible for establishing and overseeing a rebate program with key vendors and suppliers, in addition to negotiating optimal pricing and terms with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Over 10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the hospitality, healthcare, or multi-family housing sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related discipline
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate and sustain vendor relationships
  • Thorough understanding of inventory management principles
  • Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Experience or training in internal auditing is advantageous.
