Position: Customer Care Advocate - Claims Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $15-$16/hr. (based on experience) + $1/hr. for bilingual Spanish/English proficiency, with a $500 sign-on bonus after 6 months and up to $400 monthly performance bonus.

Alpha Warranty Services, Inc. is a veteran-owned enterprise established in 2002, recognized nationally as a leading provider of Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC). As a Customer Care Advocate in our Claims department, you will serve as the primary liaison for our clients throughout the vehicle repair claims process.

Your role involves assisting customers via phone, email, and chat to clarify their service contract benefits and claim statuses, while meticulously documenting each interaction in our system. Every engagement is an opportunity to empower our clients with essential information.

While automotive knowledge is not mandatory, a willingness to learn and understand the vehicle repair process is beneficial. Our Claims team, composed of ASE certified mechanics, collaborates directly with repair facilities to evaluate and determine the validity of customer claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as Sales, to address and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Utilize effective problem-solving skills and available resources to facilitate the claims process.
  • Offer innovative and meaningful solutions to complex issues whenever feasible.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven customer service experience is essential.
  • Experience in a call center environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly valued and compensated accordingly.
  • Interest or experience in vehicle repair is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in navigating technology, including computers, phones, and various software applications.
  • Typing skills with a minimum speed of 30+ WPM.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to change and eagerness to embrace new opportunities as the company evolves.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
