Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Attorney to join our Digital Modernization and National Security Sectors as Assistant General Counsel. In this role, you will play a key part in advising on government and commercial contract formation and performance issues, managing bid protests and contractual disputes, and supporting litigation and internal investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on all aspects of government and commercial contract formation and performance, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft, negotiate, and interpret contracts with customers, partners, and vendors, leveraging your expertise in master service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and software license agreements.
  • Handle, oversee, and manage bid protests, claims, and other disputes, including collaborating with outside counsel as needed.
  • Support litigation and internal investigation matters, providing expert analysis and advice to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Interact with other attorneys and internal clients on various legal counseling activities, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of a US state bar.
  • At least 8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or in government service.
  • Strong background in government contracting, handling bid protests, contractual disputes, claims, and litigation, as well as advising on compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Experience with commercial contracting, negotiating agreements, and handling disputes and litigation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits and Compensation

As a Senior Contract Attorney at Leidos, you can expect a competitive salary range of $126,100 - $227,950, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additional Information
