The Delivery Associate is responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of nutritious meals to clients' homes. This role requires adherence to food safety standards, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver meals to clients' homes according to scheduled routes and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the meal preparation team to pick up and deliver meals efficiently.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during transportation and delivery of meals.
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of meals during transit to ensure they meet food safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients during meal deliveries.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to clients' inquiries or concerns related to meal delivery.
  • Communicate any special requests or feedback from clients to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain accurate records of meal deliveries, including clients' signatures, pictures of delivered meals, and delivery times.
  • Report any delivery issues, such as delays or damaged packages, to supervisors promptly.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate effectively with the meal preparation team and administrative staff to ensure seamless meal delivery operations.
  • Communicate any changes in delivery schedules or clients' preferences to the appropriate team member.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with local streets, routes, and traffic patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor, especially when dealing with elderly or medically fragile individuals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Shows dependability by being punctual; maintains consistent attendance.
  • CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
Work Environment:

The Delivery Associate typically works on a part-time or full-time basis. The job may involve irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate clients' schedules. Delivery Associates may spend a significant amount of time sitting and driving.
