The Grants Financial Administrator position is a key role within the Finance Department's Grants Management division. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for assisting departments with grant proposal preparation and supporting documentation. The Grants Financial Administrator will also coordinate and perform fiscal administration and reporting of grant expenditures and disbursements, as well as research and evaluate grant funding opportunities relative to UG policies and vision. Additionally, this position will analyze and review proposals and grant budgets to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and funding agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist departments with grant proposal preparation and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate and perform fiscal administration and reporting of grant expenditures and disbursements
  • Research and evaluate grant funding opportunities relative to UG policies and vision
  • Analyze and review proposals and grant budgets to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and funding agency requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public agency
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, financial, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Salary Range: $32.24 - $50.36/hr
