Job Title: Senior HR Representative

DivIHN Integration Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Representative to join our team. As a trusted partner to our employees and managers, you will provide HR Generalist support, using your expertise and coaching skills to assess, diagnose, and deliver employee relations, engagement, and communication programs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR Generalist support to employees and managers, including talent development, talent management, program and policy adherence, training, and leading organizational change.
  • Manage and deliver people-related strategies to meet and/or exceed business results, while elevating the people-first culture at our facility.
  • Support the implementation of function-wide training and development plans, talent management support, and leadership assessment processes.
  • Partner with leadership to analyze, interpret, and forecast workforce trends, and identify and monitor key HR metrics.
  • Advises and consults with departmental leaders on operational decisions, facilitating the development of departmental systems or protocols that promote HR strategy and ensure compliance with Client HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate a supportive work environment that supports Employee Safety, Quality Policy, and Client's Culture Levers.
  • Operationalize HR programs and services, including recruitment and retention, reward and recognition, compensation, learning and development, well-being and safety, and leave management.
  • Manage leave of absences, EDD claims, ADA requests, and AAP goals.
  • Coach and consult with managers and employees on issues affecting morale, performance, and development, helping to determine root causes and recommend appropriate next steps consistent with Client policies and State and Federal laws.
  • Analyze departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and Client policies, monitor changes in the laws and regulations, evaluate their impact, and make recommendations for compliance.
  • Conduct audits to ensure alignment with State and Federal laws and maintain labor law postings.
  • Data management responsibilities, including processing changes in HRIS system (Workday), audits of data, earnings uploads, and data correction.
  • Coordinate community relations and employee activities to enhance employee engagement and culture.
  • Support communication strategy in quarterly town hall meetings, small group meetings, weekly operations meetings, and daily HR tier meetings.
  • Support site with compliance requirements and maintain clear written job descriptions for all positions.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities within the facility, including verify process.
  • Participate in change management activities and ensure consistency in approach and drive improvements in processes.
  • Support and assist HR team with local implementation of Client-wide HR programs (performance management, annual compensation review, strategic talent planning).
  • Support other Leaders based upon business needs and priorities.
  • Organizing, planning, and executing culture-wide engagement activities for the plant.
  • Manage the payroll process and work with people leaders to ensure compliance with timely reporting and record-keeping compliance.
  • May lead or participate in project work to support business or other Human Resources initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Disciplined action and execution, ability to drive functional excellence, promote teamwork, communicate effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive HR strategies.
  • Experience with HR software and systems, such as recruitment and performance management platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and the ability to lead organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience with talent management and development, including succession planning and leadership development.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and the ability to manage employee conflicts and disputes.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of data-driven decision making and the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret HR data to drive decision making.
  • Competencies: HR Expertise, Influencing, Change Management, Communicating for Effective Relationships, Business Acumen.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of human resource professional experience working with Senior Leadership.
  • Prior experience managing internal communication processes, and planning meetings, training, and employee events a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • SHRM or PHR Certification preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Regular attendance onsite is necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
  • Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
  • The physical requirements of this position.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently.
  • The visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field vision.
Working Environment:
  • Minimal to moderate travel required.
  • Normal office working conditions: computer, phone, files, fax, copier.
  • In office 5 days a week.
  • Office / Desk work able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
