Job Title: Family Law Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys and clients in high asset/high conflict family law cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to prepare legal documentation and manage case files.
  • Conduct client interviews and coordinate expert witness interviews.
  • Draft legal documents, including discovery motions, affidavits, and appellate briefs.
  • Investigate and respond to litigation discovery requests.
  • Perform legal research and data analysis; compile and summarize findings.
  • Manage 80 to 100 case files, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Support all phases of case preparation, including discovery, trial prep, and attending trials.
  • Prepare jury instructions, trial binders, and coordinate trial exhibits.
  • Monitor legal fees, project status, and case budgets.
  • Assist in developing office systems and procedures and support special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in high asset/high conflict family law cases.
  • Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal program or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and case management software (Centerbase preferred).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing shifting priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive legal matters with discretion.
