Job Title: Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our busy team of attorneys in their litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in real estate law and landlord/tenant law, with strong organizational skills and knowledge of county courts and recording offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure and manage documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Draft, edit, and review legal documents with accuracy.
  • Manage all aspects of eFiling for real estate cases.
  • Maintain contact with clients after the establishment of the attorney-client relationship.
  • Conduct research, including background checks on witnesses or third parties.
  • Manage electronic discovery, upload documents, review and redact for privileged information, and prepare productions.
  • Prepare chronologies and rosters for attorneys.
  • Prepare clients for court hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Draft and assess contracts, deeds, leases, and closing documents.
  • Coordinate attorney calendars and track all deadlines.
  • Maintain both paper and electronic files.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in real estate law.
  • Experience working and communicating with court staff, opposing counsel, clients.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Title/Escrow knowledge and strong math skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to anticipate client or attorney needs.
