Position Summary:
The Quality Control Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Quality Control initiatives of VJ X-Ray LLC, ensuring that all products adhere to the highest quality and safety benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and enforce quality standards and testing protocols for all products.
  • Organize and carry out inspections and evaluations to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Investigate product complaints and quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and corrective measures.
  • Ensure all personnel are adequately trained and qualified for their assigned responsibilities.
  • Revise company procedures to align with current regulations and internal policies.
  • Oversee risk management strategies and maintain logs for tracking issues, reporting to Management, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Collaborate with Technical Documentation and Process Specialists to manage document control and revisions.
  • Identify and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Purchasing Department to assess and maintain a global supplier and materials list.
  • Guarantee that products consistently meet or surpass customer expectations.
  • Manage compliance and quality documentation as required.
  • Provide training to staff, vendors, and customers as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and operational regulations mandated by local, state, federal, and industry standards.
  • Potential travel may be required for site inspections and product demonstrations.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in quality control, assurance, or compliance within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient understanding of testing methodologies, version control, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance terminology, techniques, and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating effective interactions.
  • Adept at influencing team members to drive change management initiatives.
  • Strong technical skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret various technical documents, including BOMs, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of x-ray technology.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Demonstrated customer service expertise.
  • Conversational proficiency in Chinese.
  • Understanding of OSHA and production safety standards.

Physical & Mental Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit, walk, bend, and stand in both office and industrial settings.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers for operating office equipment and tools.
  • Effective communication in person, via phone, and through electronic means is essential.
  • Responsibilities may involve lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Vision capabilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Must maintain alertness and safety in job functions.
  • Travel may be necessary, including overnight stays.
